Volunteer Opportunities.

  • Start Your Own Fundraiser

Money Matter$ Inc. relies on community support to bridge the gap between the haves and have nots. Some of our clients may need support with basic needs and help paying their utilities, rent, and be able to afford food. We suggest selling Double good popcorn, volunteering at local games to raise funds, and asking your affiliated organizations or your job to donate to Money Matter$.

  • Volunteer on a Project

We host workshops, trainings, and speaking engagements. Contact us if you want to help as a support guide, social media, marketing, administrative assistance, donations, or any other need.

  • Celebrate

Birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries are worth celebrating, but why not skip the unwanted gifts and ask for donations towards Money Matter$ to help support needy families with food, school supplies, financial support, or college scholarships. We would love to serve as your chosen charity. By asking your friends and family to donate, you’re raising awareness and supporting financial literacy in the Triangle and beyond.

  • Get Creative

If online fundraising isn’t for you, there are many other ways to raise donations for Money Matter$ Inc. You could consider a 50/50 raffle, car fundraiser, donut sales, plate sales, talent shows, fashion shows, youth basketball game, silent auction, wine tasting, yard sale, etc.

Don’t forget to adhere to any government rules on social distancing and personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Organize a Gift Card Drive

We collect donations of gift cards for essentials like groceries and toiletries to support our clients. Walmart gift cards of $20 and above are the most useful because they provide variety and value. Money Matter$’ support team works closely with other community organizations and will distribute the gift cards to those in need.
